img_20161116_223614_765Wednesday 16 th 2016 at AfricaCom, 9 Mobile Tech startups will pitch for funding and seeking to build partnerships with telcos from across Africa for potential integration opportunities with big corporations.
The startups, from MTN Mobile Tech Bootcamp Powered by Nest were guided through their business growth and development with the help of business mentoring from MTN, industry thought leaders and Nest senior executives as well as other partners and come from various countries across Africa.

They include;

Lakheni – Cape Town, South Africa.
Lakheni is a group buying company that supports communities by buying goods and services together to obtain them at lower prices.

Blissful – Nairobi, Kenya.
Blissful is a platform that connects suppliers in the weddings & events industry to customers.
Founder: Ben Maina, CEO.

Crowdcoin – Cape Town, South Africa.
Crowdcoin is a payment gateway that enables customers to use airtime to make payments, accept card & airtime payments and transact using the app and USSD.

Timbuktu – Cape Town, South Africa.
Timbuktu is an Android app that provides a simple, low-data, grocery shopping service that aims at making online retail accessible to new customers.

Tutorfy is an online curated marketplace that connects students in primary, high school and university with home tutors.
