LIFE-LINE COMES TO EBOUE OF COTE D’IVOIRE

The Turkish soccer giant, Galatasaray, has offered a coaching job to one of its former stars, Emmanuel Eboue. The gesture is to help Eboue pick up the pieces of his life after a harrowing experience in which he even contemplated suicide.
Emmanuel Eboue, who played football at its peak, used to sleep in a palatial home and drive expensive cars, recently announced that he is bankrupt after a bitter divorce battle with his ex-wife.
He played for Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal side between 2004 and 2011.
Eboue earned significant income playing for Arsenal at the height of his career, and was also on a reported £1.5 million annual salary playing for Turkish giants, Galatasaray.
However, with his former wife, Aurelie, being awarded all the couple’s assets, Eboue has been forced to dodge police and bailiffs following a court order – insisting he hand over his home in Enfield to her.
But his former club, Galatasaray, has now offered him a coaching job to help him restart his life. Nigeria’s Emmanuel Emenike is very happy about the latest development. According to AOIFootball.com, the Olympiacos of Greece attacker took to Instagram to share a picture of both players in action at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and wrote beneath it:
“Big thanks to Galatasaray for reaching out to this hard working defender, Emmanuel Eboue. May God bless you people. Emmanuel, don’t think you have lost all because we’re right behind you. Be strong.”
