Lydia Tett Olet, is a proud Kenyan, real patriotic citizen and a Philanthropist . She created the company Malaika Dance Unique in 2008, after working and gaining experience and skills in a large number and wide range of performing arts organizations  both home and abroad. (MDU) provides  creative educational  and entertainment activity in schools  and communities, our aim is to promote and create awareness  of our African culture and pride in the main stream UK. In addition Lydia Tett Olet is also involved with TY Moore Concept Productions and Steve Nash Productions in acting, writing, making and producing movies in London Nollywood Movies. The main creation for the Malaika Dance Unique is the established and indeed acclaimed, currently running, “The Darkest Hours of Victory”; Which is  the first  ever theatre play by a Kenyan (Lydia Olet) in Britain. She completed her first movie Captivated with TY Moore Concept which took her afar to Nigeria  where the movie was chosen to be premièred, her second movie titled 69 (Yoruba Movie) was premiered in London , working on her 3rd Movie/TV Series titled Apostle Do Good. She is the Assistant Director and Presenter for royalgreenwich on line TV. Lydia Tett Olet has received TAHA Awards, Beffta Awards, Miss Teen Africa Awards. She was the role model of the week beginning 21st Sep- 2015, elected by Tony Tokunbo Eteka Fernandez. Published  in the Afrokanist  Magazine  on the 3rd March 2016 as one of the Six Leading African Women in the UK. Award from Disabled International Foundation, Award from Kitenge Festival for recognition for the support in the community, Baobab  awards for Culture and Community Building.  Nominated  to receive an award at Dallas Texas (USA) by Dear Awards for the best  Kenyan Nollywood actress in London. She is also  the vision barrier (CEO) of the annual  ongoing event Kenya and friends in the Park, an event which received Beffta Awards and Panache Global Entertainment Awards year 2016. Received  award from Iroko Charity 2017, in appreciation  for her benevolent ways towards the less  privileged.  She works closely  with three different charities in Kenya
