Seven Kenyan entrepreneurs make it the top 30 African entrepreneurs’ innovators list in 2016 rankings by a US-based digital media outlet.
Yinka Adeoge an editor with Quartz Africa said that the seven finalists were chosen for their thought leading initiatives, creative approaches to problems and ground breaking work.
The finalists include Agosta Liko, founder of e-payment gateway Pesapal, techie Mary Kithinji co-founder of IT training programme AkiraChix and educational technology start-up Elimu, artiste and sculptor Cyrus Kabiru and filmmaker Wanuri Kahiu.Other Kenyans are Diana Opoti, founder of fashion and communications consultancy, Ciiru Waweru, the proprietor of funkidz, a children’s furniture maker and Evelyn Gitau an immunologist.
We are proud of our Kenyan entrepreneurial finalists and our prayer is they continue carrying the Kenyan flag high.
